Central Market Print
Here’s a grocery bag and some brochures I did for Central Market, a foodie’s paradise.
There’s nothing particularly amazing about the design of this grocery bag, but I’m proud of it for a couple of reasons:
- I wrote the copy.
- It lit up the “blogosphere” (yes, that’s a real word). I mean, who blogs about their grocery bags?
- Sheer quantity – this was probably the largest print run of anything I’ve designed. They printed millions of these things.
Not sure if you can tell from the picture, but the Floral Guide has a little die cut on the cover that you can stick a business card in, which was a fun little feature.
The bag won a 2008 National Silver Addy and was featured in the 2009 Graphis Design Annual. The Wine Guide won a 2007 Austin Silver Addy.
Work done while at McGarrah Jessee.
